Bringing together spoken word, cabaret, rap, drag and even tap dancing, Period Dramas is a chaotic and all-embracing celebration of self that combines cabaret and history in a romp through the ages. It teaches audiences the history of menstruation that they never learnt in school and busts the menstrual taboo wide open, whilst encouraging audiences to embrace themselves fully, let loose and have fun!

Originally programmed for The Pleasance Theatre for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2020 and VAULT Festival 2022, Period Dramas was a casualty of COVID-19, but it's coming back bigger and better!
After two work-in-progress showings at The Other Palace Theatre in February 2022 and Previews at The Hope Theatre in July 2022, you can now catch Period Dramas at:
