Workshops
Heather is passionate about empowerment through the creative arts and increasing access to the arts. She is an experienced facilitator and workshop leader, having worked with community arts charities, youth theatres and in a number of schools. She has worked with a range of people including primary and secondary aged students, people with learning differences, young carers, older adults, adult carers and adults with dementia. She has also worked extensively as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), supporting students with SEN in both specialized and mainstream settings. Heather is currently a recipient of the Create Nurturing Talent bursary, which has provided an incredible opportunity to work as a supporting artist/facilitator on a number of cross art form projects and workshops, in a range of settings.
Workshops include Acting, Performance, Shakespeare, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Poetry and Zine-Making
Workshops are adapted to the needs of different individuals/groups and tend to feature lots of games, drama activities and a chance to talk about life and the universe! Outcomes can vary from performances to written pieces, to workshops focused more on the process and developing creative skills.
Heather is fully DSB cleared and has her own PLI Insurance.
Heather also provides one to one tuition in acting and performance, including tuition for LAMDA exams.
